Our program in Petite-Riviere-de-Nippes, Haiti is our first and most comprehensive program. We provide full family support for children who have lost their parents. Along with providing safe, stable family homes, our support includes funding children’s school tuition, uniforms, clothing, food, and healthcare. Since August 2021, we have also been providing earthquake disaster relief materials, such as crucial medical supplies and clothing.
From One of Our Coaches
“I think it’s wonderful to introduce other important life skills, like teamwork and problem-solving, through soccer. It’s a way to teach and heal our kids in a creative and fun way,” said Yves Bruno, our program soccer team coach and recreational therapeutic programs leader in Haiti.
“You Care. We Care. finds so many ways to support the local community. The organization has provided jobs to locals like me and resources to families. That has made a huge difference. It’s wonderful to see positive changes in my hometown and the overwhelming support for our organization.”
From Our Haiti Committee Chair
“You Care. We Care.’s presence has been a great thing for our community and for bringing about change in Haiti,” said Haitian native Ludner Felix.
“The people have nothing here, so it is important for us to help. The most vulnerable children in the community are now going to school, sleeping comfortably, and have access to drinking water, food, and essential healthcare services.”
